The Association of Cancer Patients responded to the global Wellness for Cancer initiative with a clear understanding, that body and skin care in cancer patients is an important part of overall patient care. This care is an investment in both the well-being of patients, and in their self-esteem.
Wellness for Cancer is a non-profit organization, which seeks to help people improve their quality of life, to reduce side effects on the skin of the face and body, caused by oncotherapy and increase their mental well-being during their experience with cancer. The organization is recognized worldwide for building a bridge between the medical world and the world of wellness., to jointly create guidelines and standards, based on evidence.
The French cosmetics brand Biologique Recherche partners with the non-profit organization Wellness for Cancer, to adapt their face and body therapies specifically to the needs of people, suffering from cancer or in remission.
