The Cancer Patients Association will celebrate its 20th anniversary

Anti-cancer policies and patients' quality of life - between intentions and reality will be discussed by cancer patients in a forum, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Association of patients with oncological diseases. Within the forum, patients, doctors and specialists in the social sphere will discuss the current problems of prevention, the treatment, control and follow-up of oncological diseases in our country.

The forum will be held on 5 April 2024 g., Friday, in 2020 Event Space (to the bTV entrance, the small NPC). You can see the program of the event at https://forum.oncobg.info

Medical oncologists will provide their expert perspective on why the patient is at the center of cancer treatment, as well as on developments in immunology and personalized treatment, including the need to improve oncology care for children.

Within the framework of the forum, the possibilities for screening programs will be presented, as well as what the future holds for the National Cancer Control Plan.

Legal and social experts will discuss patients' rights, the right to treatment abroad, the quality of life with cancer and the innovations in TELC and social protection mechanisms.
