The Association of Cancer Patients noted 4 February - World Cancer Day. Throughout the day, Mrs. Evgenia Alexandrova, Chairman of APOZ, met with patients at the Medical Oncology Clinic in Acibadem City Clinic Oncology Center. With the support of the pharmaceutical company Service, each patient received a compliment from APOZ.

Every year on 4 February the world joins forces in an effort to save millions of lives by raising awareness of cancer. Each year, newly diagnosed cases exceed significantly 30 000, writes BGNES.

Europeans are given this diagnosis. The statistics show, that the incidence of cancer in men and women continues to rise despite better prevention and treatment. With the increase in life expectancy and the age of the population, an increase in the number of cancer patients is expected.
